The first GSO Senate meeting will be held on Wednesday September 14th from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Senate meetings will happen every other Wednesday at the same time. The full list of dates is as follows: 9/14, 9/28, 10/19, 11/2, 11/16, and 11/30.
The Graduate Student Organization (GSO) and the Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development are partnering to help graduate students with career planning and job search needs. The following appointments and programs are a result of this collaboration. We are stronger when we work together!
All Graduate Students are invited to the annual GSO Welcome Back Picnic Friday, September 2nd from 5-7 pm at the College in the Woods (CIW) Co-Rec Field (across the road and up the hill to the right from the University Union bus stop). And please RSVP for this event by clicking HERE.
The first SCMA meeting of the year will be on Wednesday, September 7 2016 at noon in the GSO lounge. Groups from last year and new groups should make sure to send one representative to the meeting. Remember, SCMA groups have to re-charter every year. Please fill out and bring hard copies of Officer List and Recharting form available through the GSO website. Also bring a proposed budget for the year for your group.
The first day of classes brings the reopening of the GSO offices. The office is open beginning 1:30 pm on Thursday until 5pm and is open again on Friday from 10am to 1:30 pm.
